Sorry Doesn’t Exist Anymore

Sorry Doesn’t Exist Anymore

a lie that couldn’t lie
time can’t think
not fooled by the talk
this lover is not the one
if i could break the mold
i’d find myself
but i’m not a begging man
and i ride a southbound train
i’ll never call out your name
i’ve been alone
for many many nights

sorry doesn’t exist anymore

something to say
i lost the taste
for being wrong
coming undone
i see me burning

sorry doesn’t exist anymore

fancy the charade
tossing it all into the waterfall
it’s damn easy to say goodbye
to myself
i’ve been alone
for many many nights

sorry doesn’t exist anymore

my glass gets it right
folded sheets
burned out lights
voices in my head
i’ve been alone
for many many nights
here in the dark

sorry doesn’t exist anymore

now it gets a little risky
tangled in the shadows

sorry doesn’t exist anymore
