Turning Towards

Turning Towards

I am in the dance of daring steps, where caution weaves with chance,
step lightly, step bodly, in life’s unscripted dance.
Savor each moment, ripe and fleeting,
taste the present, its heart still beating.

Turn away from idle tongues that weave webs of empty sound,
Their noise but echoes in a hallow ground.
In actions kind, find purpose true,
A gift to others, a gift to you.

Lift the weight of guilt, let it fall like autumn leaves,
for choices made are threads in a tapestry that weaves
the story of you, unique and bright,
In the gallery of time, a beacon of light.

Do not dwell in yesterday’s shadow or tomorrow’s unknown sun,
for today holds the key to the joy that is to be won.
If your voice falters and cannot sing,
hum a tune, let it take wing.

Spread cheer, a smile, a laugh, a light,
in the simplest gesture, make the world bright.
And oh, dear soul, in this grand play,
unfold yourself in every way.

Learn, grow, reach for the stars,
in the journey of life, erase the scars.
Just live, just be, in this grand design,
in the art of living, let your light shine.
