Survival’s Song

Survival’s Song

On streets where hunger’s plea echoes loud,
Outstretched hands, faces in the crowd.
Begging for sustenance, a desperate song,
A silent plea for a meal, a place to belong.

In eyes that mirror life’s harsh decree,
Hope flickers faint, yet resiliently.
Amidst hunger’s plea, compassion’s seed may sow.
