Erasing

Erasing

Beware the trap of sweeping, broad dictations,
For dangers lurk in thought’s wide-spread embrace,
In generalizations, we find complications.

Though tempting, they can lead to false narrations,
Oversimplifying, truth they often efface
Beware the trap of weeping, broad dictations.

In painting all with one brush, in exaggerations,
Individuality’s beauty we erase,
In generalizations, we find complications.

In varied souls, we miss the variations,
Complexity’s essence, in haste we replace,
Beware the trap of sweeping, broad dictations.

Let not bias and ignorance be our foundation,
See the world’s intricacies, embrace,
In generalizations, we find complications.

So seek the truth beyond shallow summations,
Resist the pull of this perilous space,
Beware the trap of sweeping, broad dictations,
In generalizations, we find complications.
